'Trail to First Class' is an advancement program designed to provide Boy Scouts with a chance to achieve the aims of Scouting. As a Scout advances he is measured and grows in confidence and self reliance. All new Scouts are encouraged to achieve First Class rank within their first year with Troop 4. By Doing so, these new Scouts become net contributors to the troop and are able to care for themselves and help lead others. The following documents are used by Troop 4 to achieve this goal; Trail to First Class and Achievement Form.
